FroggyFunds (“FroggyFunds,” “we,” “us”) is made by Hilbren Technologies LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the FroggyFunds app and website, how we use it, and the choices available to you. FroggyFunds is a family app: it is set up and controlled by a parent or guardian (the “Parent”), and children use it under that Parent’s account.
A note on children’s privacy
FroggyFunds is designed to be used by children under the supervision of a Parent, and we built it to limit what we collect directly from children. A child does not create their own account, sign in with an email address, or set a password. A child’s device is connected to the family only after a Parent generates a one-time pairing code inside their own account, and the Parent can disconnect a child’s device or issue a new code at any time. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information beyond what is described here, contact us at support@froggyfunds.app and we will address it.
Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Parent account information: When a Parent creates an account, we collect an email address and a password (stored in encrypted/hashed form by our authentication provider, not as plain text).
- Family and child profile information: Information the Parent enters to set up the family, such as a child’s first name and a chosen avatar. We do not ask for a child’s date of birth, address, email, phone number, or photo.
- In-app activity: Play-money balances, chores, allowances, goals, and the transaction history the Parent or child creates while using the app. FroggyFunds uses play money for learning purposes only — the app does not connect to real bank accounts, cards, or payment methods, and no real money moves through the app.
- Device and technical information: Basic technical data needed to operate and secure the app and website, such as app version, device type, and error/crash logs.
How we use information
- To provide and operate the core features of FroggyFunds (family setup, chores, allowances, goals, and activity tracking).
- To authenticate Parent accounts and keep family data secure.
- To respond to support requests and communicate with Parents about their account.
- To diagnose problems, fix bugs, and improve the app.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not use children’s information for behavioral advertising, and we do not sell personal information.
Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information to third parties. We share information only with:
- Service providers who host and operate the app’s infrastructure on our behalf (for example, our database and authentication provider), under agreements that limit their use of the data to providing that service to us.
- Legal or safety reasons, if required to comply with the law, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or others.
- A successor, if FroggyFunds or Hilbren Technologies LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the commitments in this policy.
Data retention
We retain account and family data for as long as the Parent’s account is active. A Parent can request deletion of their account and associated family data at any time by contacting us; we will delete or anonymize the data unless we’re required to keep it for a legitimate business or legal reason.
Parental rights and choices
A Parent can, at any time:
- Review and update the information in their family’s account.
- Disconnect a child’s device or reissue its pairing code.
- Request a copy of the personal information associated with their account.
- Request that their account and associated family data be deleted.

Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
International users
Our service providers may process and store information in countries other than the one you live in. Wherever your information is processed, we require that it be handled consistently with this Privacy Policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify Parents through the app or by email.
